(We don’t share this data with anyone else. We will call you when we are on our way and again once the results of the samples are in. We will also email you a copy of the results unless you specify you would like these posted out.)

Even if you don’t, we can still carry out a free lead test for you, but we will notify your retail company and share any correspondence with them.

NOTE: If you think you may have lead pipes feeding your property then flushing the tap for two minutes before using for drinking or cooking will help to reduce the lead levels down to safe levels. This is particularly important if young children or pregnant women are drinking the water.

What happens on the visit?

1. Our Technician can help locate lead pipework in your property
2. We will take three samples from your kitchen tap and one from the boundary box (if available)
3. The visit can take up to an hour and a half to complete; we may need to turn your water off for up to 60 minutes.
Slots are available from Monday to Friday only

What happens afterwards?

Our Lead Scientist will contact you by phone with the results as soon as they are available. Results may take up to 10 working days.
