We’re proud to be working in partnership with Kidney Care UK.
We serve approximately 870,000 customers within our region who are living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Approximately 10,000 of those rely on dialysis to keep them alive. We’re going to be working together to help engage and support more people living with kidney disease.
Who are Kidney Care UK?
Kidney Care UK are the leading kidney patient support charity providing advice, support and financial assistance to thousands of people every year.
How we’re working together to better support our customers
Our partnership is going to be focusing on 3 core areas;

Alongide the health implications, our customers receiving dialysis often have extra expenses due to the added cost associated with treatment. Our Extra Care Support provides a range of discounted tariffs and assistance schemes to help support customers with low incomes.
The WaterSure tariff is one of the discounted tariffs we offer through our Extra Care Support and is likely to benefit those receiving home dialysis as it puts a cap on the amount a customer pays for their water. The tariff is in place to help customers in receipt of select income based benefits, who have high-water usage due to a medical condition (for example, Chronic Kidney Disease) or because there are 3 or more children under the age of 18 in the property.
Our Priority Services Register, provides free practical support to people who might need extra help due to age, ill health or disability, including families with young children or those with caring responsibilities. If you or a loved one are living with Chronic Kidney Disease, we can help in the following ways:
